Water Cooling Radiator Outside Case

It also features vents designed to reduce noise and facilitate full circuit airflow. The front can house two radiators and it has removable fan trays which can be placed anywhere by users preferences. The radiators can be placed at the top front base and back. So i m looking at needing about 6x120mm radiators based off of research.

Just mount it where it fits best. Water cooling systems. I ve been looking into external radiators and i ve found some pretty great rads for relatively cheap. That said as long as there s adequate cooling within the case and the video card has a decent cooler throttling shouldn t really be a huge concern.

I m looking to water cool cpu plus 2 gpus i have. The case can support graphics cards up to 570mm without reservoir and 280mm with reservoir in length cpu coolers up to 180mm tall and psu up to 200mm in length. Some users choose to mount the radiator to pull in fresh air from the outside. Also the radiator in the sizes of 240mm is placed at the top.

My case has room for 2x 240mm and a 120mm in the back so i was thinking of outing 3x 240mm rads and possibly running one of them on the outside of the case. By replacing stock cooler from a high end gpu with a water block you can free up space for an additional card. Others choose to have it push air out of the case. Since the inside of the case is usually quite warm indeed this isn t really a problem but if you use the pc in a particularly hot room like an un air conditioned garage in the summer you ll see less effective cooling.

At the same time heat is transferred away to the radiator and directly exhausted from the case which is a win win situation. The case is only good for a single radiator water cooling setup and you cannot use dual radiators or dual loop water cooling with it. This might seem obvious but an air cooling setup relies on cooler air outside the case than inside. Although there are the reservoir pump rad combinations i was looking at simply the radiator such as the watercool mo ra3 360 lt and the watercool htf4 triple 140mm radiator both of which seem like great external radiators to me easily moved from build to build and extraordinary performance.

This full tower case is designed to accommodate four water cooling radiators with a maximum size of 420mm. If multiple options are present and if best cooling is desired consider front mounted for the best cpu cooling or top rear for the best overall.
